Grass needs to be mowed.
Grass needs to be mowed.
Residents have parties and throw bottles into the street (broken glass); trash cans are left on the sidewalk all the time; parking on the lawn.
In the 2500 block on 3rd St. between Chi-Chi's Restaurante and Ellis Floral shop there are several trees that are too low and causes people to walk around them on the grass and/or in the street.
The house directly across from 621 S. College St. has a pathway that leads to the sidewalk. On the sidewalk there are one or two slabs of stone that causes people to trip over them.
Ms. Epperson called to see if City cld. cut down large branches from trees that are restricting use of her driveway. Also, she noted there are electrical wires & telephone lines that the branches "knock" into, presenting a hazard to herself & others in area. She just wants the branches cut on her side, b/c she's elderly and needs to park car on drive for safety & ease. *(SPOKE TO JUSTIN WYKOFF, WHO'LL LOOK INTO THIS - AK )
NO WATER
Caller lives next to Bryan Park. She said she asked for a trash can @ entrance to the park last year and now it is gone. There is trash everywhere. She and her husband are in their 70's and have been cleaning trash @ the park for 40 years. She wants another trash can and big sign "NO LITTERING."
Mrs. Pennington called Streets in late June re van seats which were dumped near a culvert on Hancock Street. She understood someone would pick them up and they were not. Since then, other people are using the area for a dump. (Mrs. Pennington would like a call re when this trash can be picked up.)
Students leaving trash in front of the house (on the bank), and on the front porch for weeks. The back yard is full of trash.
At 6th & Rogers next to what use to be Max Fulk Wholesale, the weeds are growing out of control.
