I have observed that a couple of the interpretative signs around City Hall are too high. Most of the signs along the B-Line are about 34" high. But two of them, one next to the Hopewell jar fountain and the other on the B-Line across from the Bloomington Banquet sculpture, are 45" and 43" high respectively. Small children and people in wheelchairs would not be able to read these signs. Those two signs, unlike many of the others, are not mounted in a footer. So it would probably be easy to cut a portion of the pole off and lower them so they are more accessible. I am sure both of these signs are out of compliance with the ADA. I live at 1502 W 12th Street and there is a silver Pontiac Grand Prix out front that belongs to the people who lived at my address before me, I was told I needed to contact the city to have it removed, it appears to have been abandoned. It's taking up too much space and my wife's and my own family don't have anywhere to park when they come visit. Thank you.
