uReport Case #168317: I got a follow up email today about the hole I reported. Thanks to the long period of heavy rainfall, I think I have discovered what is responsible for the holes---burrowing crawdads. So, I still think the holes are dangerous BUT maybe there is no point in filling them.

Hello! This monster pothole ate my tire. It’s located on the side road that runs between Best Buy and the old Barnes and Noble on the east side (I believe S. Williamsburg Drive.) Could it be fixed? Thanks!

There are two storm water grates that are dangerous to bicycles that should be replaced. They are located at the south-east corner of the Monroe County Courthouse Square. One is on the west side of Walnut St and the other is on the north side of Kirkwood Ave. These grates have long openings parallel to the street. A bicycle wheel can penetrate deeply into these grates and thus throw the rider and/or damage a bicycle.
