Dear John, I'd like to draw your attention to something that's happening at Walnut Grove apartment complex south of town. Somebody has recently bought it, is raising the rents, and economically challenged people are having to move out with nowhere to go. I run a food pantry there once a month and have gotten to know many of the people who live there and they are angry and frightened. What's happening there may be legal, but is certainly unethical. I understand that you are interested in creating low income housing, but this is a situation where low income housing is being flipped for a profit and leaving many people literally out in the cold. Street light across the street (the west side) from 1324 North Kinser Pike is out. It is a hazard to check the mailboxes, and the whole area is VERY dark on the west side driveways, and the sidewalk on the east side.

No service and then dirty water

On West Seventh Street a turn-arrow street sign has fallen down into the drainage ditch. This drainage ditch is located just west of Adams Street by the AutoColor retail shop. Also, someone has dumped a large bag of trash into this drainage ditch on the south side. The drainage ditch needs to be cleaned out of overgrown trees, roots and debris that has accumulated from storm drainage from the culvert under the Indiana Rail Road embankment to the north of West Seventh Street.

There is what looks like a big hole on the side of the lane (15th St., between Monroe and Lindbergh- by the frisbee golf course). It is on the right side as you are heading west on the street. It could be dangerous if a car needed to pull over so that another car could pass because that lane is barely wide enough for 2 cars as it is. Thanks.
