Referring to #170981 and 171031 (cases still Open) from November 15 and 22. 'Help Wanted' signs are still there on Bloomfield Rd on the grass near the Sun-Mart gas station, at Liberty and Bloomfield Rd, Second and Walker, and in the grass on the hospital corner of Second and Rogers. Does this mean they are all legal?
College Movers and Junk Hauling sign in the grass near the gas station on the corner of Patterson and W Third Street.
Mr. HELP WANTED (black lettering on a white sign) keeps putting up new signs all over town: - at the Jackson Creek shopping center on Covenanter, near My Eye Doctor; - 2 signs on the 'island' where College and Walnut merge, close to the intersection with Dodds Street.
"Intersection of 2nd St and Basswood Rd is very dangerous. Would like City to look into placing some kind of stop/traffic control there. Cars have a very difficult time crossing 2nd St at this location.
Intersection of 3rd and Pete Ellis is dangerous. Often a line for a left hand turn from 3rd develops to enter the B N parking lot. Island on 3rd doesn't allow traffic to get out of way from through traffic. Problem results in sudden braking and traffic congestion into College Mall and 3rd intersection. Resident would greatly appreciate a reply to his complaint. Please see Julio for copy of inquiry.
JAMES WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE LOADING ZONE LOCATED IN FRONT OF HIS OFFICES AT 418 S WALNUT STREET MOVED TO IN FRONT OF THE BARS THAT ARE LOCATED DOWN THE STREET. Citizen says that roads through Winslow Farm between Winslow & Henderson (Bent Tree Dr, Wylie Farm Rd) are used as cut throughs and there is a bad speeding problem. Would like problem monitored and City to look into ways of reducing the speeding either through enforcement or some kind of traffic control.
