I live on the corner of N. Jackson and W. 12th Street. There are deep ruts running down Jackson to the corner. They're on the edge of the road, but need to be filled in. Thanks.

Why would the City ban scooters at night? Guessing for alcohol reasons but a ban is not the answer. We don't ban cars from the roads at night. Enforce against problems, require adequate light, etc. but why should workers of overnight shifts and others be punished needlessly. Ducking a problem is not solving a problem.

The people building the additional floors on the building at 4th and College do such a terrible job of keeping the temporary sidewalk open. When it is open it is about 2 ft wide, and most of the time during the day they have dragged the fence right up against the concrete barriers and make people walk in the middle of traffic. STUPID!
Large, rectangular, deep pothole--east 10th street--north side of the street across from Wells Library-pothole is next to the curb. Looks like it had been repaired a long time ago, but the filler has been removed in chunks. It's a mess & probably dangerous if someone on a bike or scooter tries to ride over it.
The utilities Dept added a new electricity pole behind our property. I understand that these are necessary but the trucks dug deep ruts in our yard. The attached photo is an example of the damage. It does extend further. Also, a stake and line are placed in our property. Again, I understand that this may be necessary, but advanced notice should have been given, as we are in the process of placing a fence in that same spot. I look forward to hearing back, at least in regards to the yard damage. The property is at 700 w Cherokee Dr. And the empty lot to the side is my property as well. Thank you. Stephanie Johnson
Hi Chris, Just to let you know, the street lights are still not working on E 2nd St. I thought Duke would have made the repairs by now since a month has passed since it was first reported. Ticket #167643 Debbie Howard 2602 E 2nd St.
left in front of my house late last night or early morning....still there at 9pm. Contacted them to report. What are we supposed to do when this happens? I sent them an email to remove it. What rights do I have if it's still there tomorrow? In my email I told them they have till noon tomorrow, or I consider it abandoned property. It's not 'lost' property, since they know where they are with their gps chip. I do not understand how it's legal for them to operate.
