A group of people have set up camp within the park. They have tents, sheets hung blocking the view, etc. They have beaten a trail to where they are camping and have removed vegetation to clear the site. I haven't seen it, but my adult son was out there looking for our dog and stumbled onto the campsite. He said if you park in the lot and go southeast, you'll find the camp. They are staying away from the old pond area and where there are workers. We just hate to see destruction in the park! Thanks, Martha

Light blue Prius with windows rolled down is parked in the yellow zone on the corner of West Seventh and Maple and has been parked there for over 72 hours. It is also in a yellow zone. Thank you!

I live near the intersection of Arden and High. I have personally witnessed several cars blow through the 4-way stop without stopping or slowing down. There are a lot of children in this neighborhood, including many who walk to Child's school. Please consider some sort of traffic warning/calming/etc at this intersection. Thanks, Sarah Schmiechen

Please update your police officers on policies regarding insurance, warranted searched, and speed limit postings. I was pulled over yesterday by a police officer who said I was tailgating yet speeding, and when I explained I was tailgating because I had to slam on my brakes since he pulled out into the lane. I believed he was making an emergency maneuver, however was just trying to get in traffic. He pulled me over, said he would cite me if I did not have my insurance, which I did, but it is also a law that I have 24 hours to provide that proof. It is also a law that if he has no reason to search my trunk, he cannot. However, he asked and I, politely, said yes. However, this was not necessary as there was no probable cause to search. Luckily my father is IMPD and was in direct contact with his supervisor. But I would like to make the city aware of this incident, as I felt very uncomfortable. Especially when said officer kept saying things were expired, then changing his mind when I said they were not. He was very unprofessional, and as someone who has been around law enforcement for 21 years, exhibited very concerning behavior. Thank you.

Several concerns : as you exit 3rd st and make yr way up the 150’ turn onto s muller: 1) there are no sidewalks - after the initial work was done near 3rd st. This is a dangerous walk for the tenants in the housing complex down muller. Students etc have to walk in the road 2) there needs to be a speed bump added across from the fire hydrant and across form Steward Electric. Reports will show several accidents here. Once drivers clear the speed bump coming out from the housing area - it’s light them up time down to 3rd st. 3) severe potholes on the first 150 ft up the hill on muller Pkwg off third. When is the electronic billboard case going to move forward in court? This has been non compliant for so long, is an eye sore, and sets a precedent for more distracting and tacky signage to enter this county and city. Please provide the public an update so we know that the same issues are still being addressed in the new year

On the Saturday a couple weeks ago on the day of the Michigan football game, they open the road back up after shaving down the asphalt and left the 6 inch steel plumbing fixture of some type sticking up in the middle of the center lane. It broke off by the time I came back around to take a photograph, but I took a picture of the hole where it broke off at and a picture of it. I can’t believe I let this sticking that high out of the ground. it destroyed my tire bit my strut and caused some damage to my car, which was completely unacceptable. There’s no way to see it with the car in front of me until I hit it and I was careful around all these areas but they left two and 3 inch lifted up, plumbing all over the area not to mention multiple inch edges where they cut down. There’s no way a car can handle any of these situations especially not the 6 inch steel shown in the picture. Who do I talk to you about getting my car fixed? This was complete negligence not to mention extremely unsafe thank you.
