I and several neighbors have an ongoing problem with a man on our street. He has two large vehicles parked on the street, another vehicle in his driveway and a large truck that has never been moved. Yesterday, he moved this Ford-350 close to my driveway and I cannot get out safely on the street as the truck blocks by view. This truck also blocks my sidewalk so visitors cannot come to my door for a visit. These problems with him have been going on for years and the Ford-350 has not been moved in more than a year. The Excursion is also a truck and it also blocks safety. Both of these vehicles do not have current plates and the man keeps telling the parking officers that he has then in the house and will put them on the vehicles. He has not done so. Finally, several people on our street are anger and resentful because the city has yet to force him to make needed changes so that all of us can be safe. Please pick up garbage in front of house at 1404 East Atwater Ave. Was put out Sun. afternoon. It's a single family home and only puts out trash once about every 4 weeks (then recycling the next week, again only once every 4 weeks). Today, about 9:30 a.m., I saw garage truck turn east from Swain onto 1500 block of Atwater, missing 1400 block (1404's the only address that puts out trash and, again, I realize not every week), but they need to check and usually apparently do, since this isn't usually a problem. But they did miss this morning so please have them come back and pick it up. Thanks.

Office Richmond (I believe was how he introduced himself) was called for wellness check in citizen in need. When approached he approached with hostility towards the people helping provide warm clothes to the woman. He attempted to “help” and the woman asked for him not to touch her and then abandoned the warm layers due to the officers advances and presence. Then instead of actually helping he turned his questioning and subsequently aggression towards me. He spoke loudly and condescending towards me and then abandoned helping the woman. It would be okay if police weren’t so fragile that instead being of assistance they become a safety issues for others. Please when people call for help or wellness send EMTs be police officers since their egos and aggression cannot be in check. Invest in actual training in social workers and healthcare workers not men and women with power complexes and the affinity for harming the most vulnerable in our community.
