Intersection of Walnut Street Pike and Rhorer. The north bound traffic light (going straight) is not functioning properly in recognizing when there is traffic so never turns green (unless there is a person in the left turn lane). This appears to have been happening at least since yesterday (12/9/24) morning
In June, the terrible storms that knocked down many trees all over the city and left many of us without power for days also caused some damage to the trees on the trail loop in RCA park. My backyard is next to the trail, and there is a very tall tree with a massive broken, dead branch that is still hanging on. I foresee this breaking off the tree soon and falling straight onto my backyard fence as well as blocking a portion of the trail. To keep my fence from being destroyed, is it possible to have this branch cut off and removed? I live at 1018 W Countryside Ln.
A previously broken branch has shifted and is now hanging dangerously low over the B-line spur trail next to 2603 S Bryan. The ends are roughly eye-level and pose a hazard to pedestrians and cyclists.
Traffic light heading north on Walnut Pike at Rhorer intersection is not turning green in the mornings between 7:30 and 8:00 am. Today is the second day in a row that I have been stuck at the intersection
In the island area across the street from 2133 Melville Cir, there are pine trees that may need to be pruned or removed. Currently, the landscapers are unable to access the area beneath the trees to clean up debris effectively, and the significant amount of debris dropped by the trees is clogging nearby street and ground drains. It is suspected that this clogging is causing issues with flooding in the area. Additionally, there is a street drain on the southwest side of the island/Melville Circle that may be causing issues, including a sinkhole in the island lawn adjacent to the street drain. Can we receive confirmation of whether some or all of the repairs in these locations (within the island and on the street of Melville Circle) is under the jurisdiction of the City or of the Renwick Neighborhood Association? If it is under the jurisdiction of the City, this report is to notify that these issues should be reviewed and rectified to avoid flooding. If it would be helpful to provide any further information, please reach out.
The two lights in the alley along the west wall of the 4th Street parking garage are out. The one closest to the photographer in this photo has been out since a few weeks after the garage opened. I would suspect that they are both still under warranty. The alley is pretty dark, the photo is misleading as to the light level there. Thanks, Brian
