There have been 2 stray dogs around my property/eating my trash off and on past 3 weeks. They’re obviously starving and seemed to be stray animals. They’re always walking the road or the road over (Pottersville/mills creek). Spencer humane society is not taking new animals. Can you help?

This morning at the intersection of reorder rd and Old Walnut St., Pike. It took 12 minutes to get through that stoplight.

Sewer line backing up. Plumber came and snaked it, and then ran a camera. The collapsed pipe is under the street, so it's a city pipe.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Property at 402 E 1st Street Dear Bloomington Town Department, I am writing to formally report an ongoing issue at the property located at 402 E 1st Street. Early this morning (December 6), while cleaning up trash that had blown into my yard, I noticed excessive garbage left in their backyard. The bags are torn open, and the mess has begun attracting animals; just last week, while I was traveling, several neighbors reported seeing a coyote in the area. This property, which is a rental, has been a recurring source of disruption in our neighborhood. In addition to improper waste disposal, previous incidents have included: • Smoking cannabis openly in the backyard. • Loud parties continuing until 4:00 a.m. • Unauthorized backyard fires without proper safety measures like a firepit. • Failure to maintain the property, such as leaving fallen leaves uncollected. I kindly request the town to investigate these concerns and take appropriate action to address the situation, ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.
