Hello, I use the B-Line nearly everyday and have for the past year living while in Bloomington. I have noticed over the course of this summer parts of the line’s gravel running path have become overgrown with grass and tree branches, as well as having been filled by regular dirt. Many people who use the trail for this purpose, myself included, have resorted to running on the concrete. This is a high impact surface which causes pain in joints, especially in the feet and legs. Also, there are many bikers on the trail and the running path allows for myself and others to be out of the way. Resolving this problem will be very much beneficial to those in the community who use the B-Line trail for daily exercise. Thank you.
We've got a few neighborhood folk wanting to convert multi use low maintenance green space in park ridge east to dirty expensive and exclusive use dog park for a minority of local residents. Please make sure this idea goes nowhere. Ample options exist for dog owners without destroying one of the city's best small neighborhood model parks.
This small section of growth obstructs view, making it dangerous trying to turn from Spicewood Lane onto Sare Road, which is heavily traveled now.
Camping on rail trail half way between That rd and Church . At the rock formation
Flaky pavement at the intersection of Autumn Drive and The Stands.
The trash removal man pulled large bags out of myncontainer and threw in truck, leaving smaller bags at bottom. This instead of using the hoist on the truck. I called out to him to empty it properly, but he refused.
The steps from this bridge look like they are not safe. This would not be apparent if you were coming from the north part of the park to the trail south by the creek.
In the 700 block of South Park the sanitation department dumped glass bottles in the street this morning when picking up recyclables. There is now broken glass in the street.
I have repeatedly asked my neighbors at 717 S. Park Ave. not to block the alley with their cars. They continue to do so as illustrated in the attached photo, taken 8/30 at about 11:30am. The alley was blocked much of yesterday 8/29 as well.
