Responded... Hi Nick. First of all, thanks for submitting this uReport. The more folks that say something about it, the better. Second, I know this person and his mother is actually the chair of the Council for Community Accessibility. While neither have directly complained about this issue it has been on our radar as other people have seen him try to navigate that stretch of Smith Road. So I went out and did a full survey from 3rd to 10th Streets and reported every issue along that route. Then I participated in a discussion about it with the Engineering and Planning. It's not so easy to address this one because it's very narrow and can't be widened. It would also be fairly costly to do the whole route. But we have placed it on the sidewalk priority list that was submitted to Planning departments for their next round of sidewalk construction. We won't know how that very limited budget gets spent for a while, but sure hope it includes addressing this one. So that's where we stand on it. Fingers are crossed! People are blowing through this 4 way stop from all directions! This has always been an issue, but even more so from where the road has been closed for so long. There are many residents and pedestrians that cross here which makes it a very unsafe situation. Rumble strips or a temporary flashing stop sign might remind people that they need to stop here!

Sidewalk on N. Smith Rd for Shamrock Pointe Apartments has not been shoveled since first snow storm of this year, nor was it ever salted, forcing me as a disabled man to walk in streets.

Needle on the ground near trail between sherwood Oaks park and the goat farm, ditch on west side of trail.

There has been a fish kill in Jackson creek, just off the trail. The water is clouded, smells foul. Dead fish are all over the rocks.

My husband and I are grateful for the carefully cleared Jackson Creek Trail. Would it be possible to also clear the access sidewalk from the Sherwood Oaks parking lot to the trail itself? Negotiating it in snowy weather is a challenge for us elderly.

This sidewalk on the east side of the bridge at the Goat Farm has poor drainage and this pool has been there for 3 days. At first I thought it was due to snow, but now that it's melted I can see that it's due to the ground next to the sidewalk being too high.

The grill has been removed from the Sherwood Oaks picnic shelter. Please replace the grill ASAP to make this picnic shelter fully functional for the summer. Thank you.
