There is still a trip hazard on the overpass, adjacent to the convention center, near the steps. Sometimes there’s a cone over it but the cone goes away. Sometimes there’s a broken cover which is better than nothing. But now there’s nothing at all.
This overpass is an icy mess. Isn’t this city property? I see other reports about this that have been closed; how can you close a report before you fix it? Please fix it or put up a sign naming it Fracture Overpass.
This pond scum was not present from 2019 until this year. Regency multi family purchased the land about 2 years ago. Concerned about lawn chemicals and fertilizers in this retention pond which feeds into creek along creek’s edge drive. A Beaver lives here in the past and a rare Duck. Wish list: We would love a fence around the baseball diamond! Currently balls often get lost in the tall grass/trees and roll down the hill. If a fence is not possible, could a perimeter mound be built so that when balls near the end of the field they slow down and don't go further. On the tennis court, a solo practice bounce wall would also be awesome so that kids/adults could play alone if a partner is not available. Lastly, could a pet dish attachment be added on the water fountain.
there's a very dead tree smack in the middle of the playground — between the swings and the slides. very hazardous.
Please post a sign at Park Ridge East shelter reminding residents that the shelter is not reservable. Leah Sinn Iversen and others have been trying to reserve on behalf of groups. With just the one shelter, drop-in use is appreciated. Thank you!
There is a deep pot hole at the intersection of Longview Ave and Glenwood. Please address when possible It is on the order 3-4 inches deep. Thanks!
At the north end of Park Ridge Park where we have been clearing invasives, just off the Polly Grimshaw Trail before it turns west and goes along the railroad, a pallet appeared among the winter creeper and bushes last week. I saw it on the 11th. It appeared to be over the boundary, and so on the property of The Crossing. On the morning of the 18th, there was a blue tarp on a mound on the pallet. I am guessing that someone is sleeping there, but the tarp stayed quiet and unmoving while I was there. The city may not be concerned since it does not appear to be on park land, and nothing has happened, but just in case someone keeps track.
