The smell and taste of the water has been absolutely disgusting for at least 3 weeks. Has the cause been found yet? It makes me nauseated to run the tap in my home. Ive been in MC for 6 years, even with hot dry summers, its never been like this. We want answers
For the past couple of weeks our water has been having a strange taste and smell. It is definitely not drinkable nor appropriate to even brush your teeth. We live in the North Side of Bloomington in Matlock Heights neighborhood on E Vernon Ave.
Hello, For the past week or two, the water has tasted differently (not good) and has had a musty odor. We are a Southern Monroe water customer, but they say that Bloomington provides and treats the water.
Very strong unpleasant odor and taste coming from the tap water for the last couple of weeks. Even overpowering our filter. Have switched to bottled water, but would love to go back to filling our water bottles from home!
No problem here - I love the way the water's been for the past few weeks! It tastes like drinking out of the hose when I was a kid. Don't change a thing! It seems to be helping the plants, too.

Hello! It is that wonderful time of year when the water taste so gross again! I know what causes it, I know that you all work so hard to get it cleaned and tasting good again and I thank you for that! I was wondering if you all had a timeline by chance of when it will be taste good to drink again. I feel like it is happening later this year which I was hoping it wasn't going to but here we hare.
