There is an incredibly bright flood light at the back entrance of the house (on N Jackson St) the stays on all night. It comes through the window shades and curtains of my bedroom window and all three of my neighbors homes as well. I’m not sure what the regulation is for nuisance lights on private property but it’d be great to have this light to be warmer in color or at least be motion sensored so we can get some rest in between. The homeowner is not open to hearing feedback from the neighbors so sadly, we have to report this way.

There seems to be a water leak between the sidewalk and the street curbing. Water is bubbling up through the ground around the small manhole cover-like object in the grass.

Some vines in the alley have taken over the power pole, I’m not really sure if this is the city’s issue or Duke’s, but we could use some assistance getting these vines off of those worse in the alleyway between Kirkwood and 6th St

There is a large tree (ash or elm?) across from my house that appears to be rotted out from the inside. My neighbor spoke to a Parks & Recreation employee who shares our concern that it is structurally unsound. I worry that during the next big storm it will fall on one of our houses. Please move it to the top of your list for removal! I know there is another tree in Butler Park about two blocks east on W. 9th that is scheduled for removal. This is a 2 week follow up to report # 204696 per request from Raye Ann Cox. There are still 3 vehicles parked in the back yard. There are 2 vehicles parked in driveway, one is unplated, one up on a jack. We asked owner again to remove the jack due to safety concerns.

A dog has been barking for over an hour somewhere near the corner of eighth and Maple. I have never heard this dog in the neighborhood before and it sounds like it’s really distressed. With the fences and the overgrowth, I can’t see exactly where it is but when you come, you will hear it.

There is a tall tree in Butler park across the street from our house. We have noticed that it’s rotted out and leaning towards our house. We are concerned that it could come down in a storm and impact our home. We would like to request that this tree be removed. Thank you!

Hi! There’s a really large tree right across the street from our house that is totally rotten out and dead on one side and leaning towards our house. I’m terrified it will fall on us. I talked to a parks employee today who said he also sent an email. Hopefully it can be taken down asap, thank you!
