We bought a house with HAND assistance at 1400 S. Palmer. The Dunn Hill painted houses are one block to the east. The 1300 block and 1400 block of South Palmer are well maintained residences, some owner-occupied, some rental. Now, I pay a lot of taxes for my house and yard. A lot. And I hope to see some benefit from doing that in terms of the trash problems at 1316 and 1317 South Palmer. Both residences bring down my property value immensely. They are total trash dumps. I collect trash from the street every week and the trash pickup. It's 99% things that people throw from their cars or just walking by. But those two places simply generate their own trash. I pick it up. But I'm tired of picking it up. I need some help. These two places sit opposite each other. The one of the west of the street is some kind of used car business. This would not be allowed on Dunn Street, just a block away. The place on the east of the street, they never deal with their trash, trash, junk, you name it. Please help.

I found a bunch of Heroin Syringes on the ground between the apartment buildings. Lame that people would shoot up just right in the grass out in front of the building, then toss the shit onto the ground uncapped. Not hard to see why people don't have a lot of sympathy for addicts.

Hello! Today, March 12, was supposed to be our garbage pick up day but for some reason our garbage bin, placed at the end of our driveway as instructed, was not emptied/collected. Do you know if the garbage service will still come through later today? Our recycling bin was collected/emptied on time this morning by the city service so I’m just wondering about the garbage. Thanks!

there have been many complaints against Reseve on third and nothing has been done. below I have copied city code, according to city code they are in violation please look into the madder and stop abusing your powers and ignoring them. 16.04.050 - Exterior structure. (a) All portions of the exterior of a residential rental unit and its accessory structures shall be maintained in a structurally sound manner, be in good repair and be maintained in accordance with this title. (b) All portions of the exterior of a residential rental unit and its accessory structures shall be maintained in a manner that does not pose a threat to the public health safety or welfare. (c) Exterior wood surfaces on residential rental units and their accessory structures, other than decay-resistant woods, shall be protected from the elements and decay by painting or other protective covering or treatment. (d) All metal surfaces subject to rust or corrosion on a residential rental unit or its accessory structures shall be coated to inhibit such corrosion and all surfaces with rust or corrosion shall be stabilized and coated to inhibit future rust and corrosion. (e) Peeling, flaking and chipped paint on the exterior of a residential rental unit or its accessory structures shall be eliminated and done in accordance with any applicable rules or regulations established by the United States Environmental Protection Agency or the state department of environmental management. (f) Exterior surfaces on residential rental units and their accessory structures shall be maintained free of mold. (g) If a residential rental unit is damaged, mutilated or defaced by marking, carving or graffiti, the owner of said unit shall restore the surface to an approved state of maintenance and repair. My neighbor down a few blocks from me have been sitting out here for month and it’s just building up over the time. Eventually it’s going to end up on the street if not taken care of.
