We were saddened this morning to find all of this fireworks trash on the Jackson Creek Trail (East Branch). As far as we know, this trail is city property and, per state law, should *not* have been used to set off fireworks. It would seem appropriate to fine the neighborhood resident who illegally used the city's property for fireworks last night. We do hope that those persons involved will also be cleaning up this fireworks trash. Thanks for your kind assistance!
The garbage can between the parking lot, the toddler playground, and the big playground is missing.
There is a growing amount of graffiti on the pedestrian tunnel below Tapp Road leading to Clear Creek Trail, predominantly on the western wall. It appears to be tags, with no images.
Jackson Creek walking trail is partially closed thick bushes, thrones and tress. My daughter got injured while riding her bicycle on Jackson Creek walking trail. Please clear the walking trail and make it SAFE to walk and ride cycles. Trail IS NOW DANGEROUS TO WALK DUE TO THORNY BUSHES AND TREES
Polly grimshaw trail has a lot of overgrowth. Can parks trim it back or have the abutting property owners? Including poison ivy
Someone removed the signs at Park Ridge Park on Longview Avenue that stated the equipment was closed. Caution tape has been removed from equipment too.
In Bryan Park, ragweed along the edge of the stream that feeds Sheridan Creek. Please urge mowers to mow in a little further. It's a few inches tall now, but it can get to be 3 or more feet tall by August. (Sidebar: most of the area between the basketball courts and the picnic shelter would be like that too without mowing)
There is a large amount of poison hemlock in several spots along the Polly Grimshaw Trail. Some of it is falling into the path. Some unknowing person might pick the flowers or try to remove it from the path.
Posen ivy on bridge at Bryan Park.
