The overhang to Bubs burgers is far too low. As a tall person, I have to go around it and step into the road. Why are sidewalks discriminating against tall individuals? I pay taxes to maintain this area and deserve to be able to walk freely on that side of the street. -Randy
The workers are being illegally stripped of their earnings by the management. In an incident that occurred Saturday ( June 19th), I believe, a waitress had a large party of 15 guests walk out on her without paying the bill. The manager then made her pay their bill out of her own pocket which was hundreds of dollars. This is also not the first time I have heard of this restaurant doing such a thing. This is not only Illegal but extremely abhorrent behavior. I am emailing and contacting as many governmental authorities as I can so that something can be done about this. If you have any better leads on where I can talk to the right people about this abuse of power please let me know.

Our sub division Northwood Estates has been having a lot of trouble with drainage. It seems that the easements have overgrown scab trees & brush that may be blocking some water but it also seems as thoug your drainage system that takes the water to a creek needs to be cleaned out. We back up to the golf course & have trouble getting the golf course staff to maintain our side of the course, ie mowing, weeds, dead trees along the road,etc. We seem to be a bit neglected when it comes to these problems. Hello, Monroe Parks & Rec, This is just an FYI and hopefully an appeal for help. I contacted the sheriff’s office on Sunday, March 29, 2020 and since then the camping site looks to have expanded and the trash in the creek and along the road has increased. If you begin at the parking lot on Country Club and walk south on the gravel road that runs parallel to the trail, it takes about a 4-5 minute walk south to arrive at the spot. It is past the brush and next to the creek. There is a small orange tent and a large blue/green structure (I didn’t get too close), there is also something large in the creek that looks like bedding. Please look into the timing/operation of the traffic signal at Walnut and Smith, next to the Project School. It operates on the weekend, and cars must wait on Walnut even though there is no traffic on Smith. Thank you.
