The flashing yellow arrow and the steady clearance arrow are kn each other's position northbound Patterson at 2nd. The order of signal displays should be with the most permissive at the bottom and the most restrictive at the top.
111? E. Kirkwood: Some sort of restaurant runoff (floor cleaning water?) is dumped from behind Opi Taylor's/Malibu. This goes on year round, but creates a sheet of ice in the winter (as it is today). The water runs/ices in front of an empty lot, so no one deals with the sidewalk. It's approx. 111? E. Kirkwood, just past the alley behind Book Corner, just at the start of the parking lot next to CVS. I originally reported this in 2017, I guess before it was cold. ureport#161324 and I was told it was runoff from an AC unit, which I think we can be sure is not the case in today's weather. I'm a daily walker from the near westside to campus. This is an ongoing problem. I really would like someone to just take some responsibility for either the initial liquid or the ice that results. Are the following cases still open or have they been closed? #170466: We Buy Houses, double sign on utility pole at the corner of the former Oona restaurant, soon to be a new Soma place. Signs are still there. #170537 Same company, different color signs: Moores Pike and Smith Rd, opposite corners. Just curious. If I go to the links, they still show OPEN, but I am not sure if that indeed is the case.
These signs are all down E 3rd Street, and elsewhere through town. this sign is at the corner of 3rd and college Mall heading east, next to the CVS. There is another one a block east, and another two blocks east from that.

The City of Bloomington government has done a horrific job with the B-Line Trail detour due to the trail closure in Switchyard Park. But, the City of Bloomington government has a history of doing a horrific job with all things traffic, roads, and detour related, so I guess in the end: who is surprised? The detour was announced on October 23rd via the Office of the Mayor's Facebook page stating it would last for about 2 weeks. Local news sources reported on that fact as well. Now, 22 days later the trail is still closed. I had to call Parks & Rec to ask, because no updates are available online. I called because I need to get into town but the detour path is not safe. Last time I rode the detour it had a lot of gravel, sand, overgrowth, and other hazards. I do not understand why the City cannot at the least keep people updated on the closure when it goes beyond the stated 2 weeks from the Mayor's office. And, maybe going a step further, clean up the detour path? I know, I know - maintaining a multi-use path would be a lot to ask in this town.
