There are two pipes that run under the railroad tracks, opposite the B-Line trail at lamppost 157, that are part of the stormwater drainage system for the surrounding neighborhoods. They both appear to be almost completely blocked up, effectively creating a stagnant pond on the north side of the tracks. I tried clearing debris from around the mouth with a rake, but I believe the blockages are deeper inside the pipes. It would be good if this could get cleaned out before mosquito breeding season begins. It might also be a good idea to install a grate to prevent larger debris from getting lodged inside these pipes in the future. Thanks!

Drainage pipes that run under the railroad tracks are blocked up again. I cleared as much as I could from the inflows but I can see more material lodged inside. Hope we can get a grate installed at some point to prevent future blockages. Opposite the B-Line trail at lamppost 157. Thanks!

I am writing to bring attention to an issue I am facing as a new homeowner at 909 W Cardinal Ct, Bloomington, IN. There is a runoff in my backyard that originates from a creek in a nearby park. This runoff significantly affects the usability of my property, as I am unable to extend my backyard or fully maintain the lawn beyond my fenced-in area due to flooding. As the homeowner, I am responsible for cleaning and mowing the area on the other side of the fence, but i cannot access this space due to the water accumulation. I have reviewed the blueprint and property lines (LOT 4), and I do not believe there should be a body of water running through my backyard. I am also aware that my neighbors have previously complained about this issue, and I would like to resolve it so that I can fully enjoy and utilize my entire property. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in addressing this matter, as I am paying a substantial mortgage but am unable to fully access my entire property. I am requesting a Neighborhood Compliance Officer confirm there are only 3 unrelated adults living at this address. Owners of this property are Tamas and Nora Czar, Landstuhl, Germany. This request is being made due to : 1. Observing 5 vehicles connected to this address (3 white sedans, a truck , and an SUV). 2. There being an overall unusual amount of cars parked in the northern half of this block, parking on both sides of the street since August 2024, with a daily average of 12 cars.

The sidewalk in front of our house has many cracks. Some of the places it is cracked are raised up a few inches which can cause tripping. In addition, we have pipes that run under our sidewalk and out to the street to connect to the main sewer. The clay pipe that runs under the sidewalk has roots growing into it. In order to replace the pipe we need to take out the sidewalk. We are hoping that since the sidewalk needs replacing anyway, the city could let us know when the sidewalk will be torn up and replaced so we can have our plumber ready to replace the pipe while the sidewalk is up. Thank you for staying in communication with us about when the sidewalk will be replaced with a safer one.

On the trail through the middle of Bryan Park, just east of the boardwalk, there is a low hanging branch. It's even lower when it's wet. It's too low to safely bike under it and even someone who is not tall has to duck to walk under it. It should be taken down.

Broken glass by the stone blocks on the north side of the tot playground at Bryan Park. Large pieces were picked up, but there are still small shards on the sidewalk between the large stones (just northeast of the bee riding toy, right in front of the stone block the farthest to the west).
