The issue is that this broken concrete is in front of a wheelchair ramp that can make it difficult to get onto the ramp as you are trying to go up it. The concrete probably needs to be redone.
There needs to be 1 or 2 streetlights put it on east 12th street between Grant street and North Walnut. It is especially dark in between Lincoln and Washington street and at night you cannot see the sidewalk at all. Most people living on E12th street are students, many of whom have night classes ending as late as 9 or 10pm. My roommates and I specifically have classes ending at 8:30 and 9 when the streets are too dark to see anything. With the current atmosphere in Bloomington, many residents of 12th street feel unsafe walking home from class, work, or to their neighbors. Installing A street lamp or two would greatly improve the safety and comfort of people living on E 12th street. The attached photo shows just how dark the sidewalk is with out a flash light at night. No one should have to feel afraid of walking down their own street at 8pm and the addition of street lamps on E12th street can help fix this.
The base of a persimmon tree in the easement along the road has a partially rotted trunk.
Vegetation is blocking half of the sidewalk in the 200 block of E 3rd. I could cite many other examples, but thus one blocked me today. Thank you.
There are dozens of potholes -- some several inches deep and more than a foot wide -- on this street. If you turn onto Williamsburg from East Third Street and head north, you will see them in front of Arby's and also as you continue heading north until you reach the area between Best Buy and Barnes and Noble.

Sidewalks along S Westplex Ave in front of the Wheeler Mission are continuously occupied by, on average, 10 to 20 unhoused people living in their parked cars and sleeping on the sidewalk, causing obstructions to the road and sidewalk for residents of the Westplex apartment complex and retirement community.

Citation #25204400447 issued 2/7/2025 to my vehicle a silver Subaru Forrester for $30.00 indicates that I did not pay to park. I have enclosed my receipt that I, in fact, DID pay $3.50 for up to 9:14 pm and I also have my receipt from Discover card showing payment to Park Mobile starting at 6:14pm for $3.50 but wasn't able to include more than 1 photo. I have other photos of proof, 1 with details that I had paid from 6:14-9:14 but we left around 7:30. Another one sent at 8:59 pm from Park Mobile that my session was about to expire. 4th Street trail between Roosevelt and Bryan is overgrown and difficult to walk on path due to overgrowth.
