Bloomington's traffic signal timing is, in general, inadequate. Traffic patterns in the city are highly variable, changing drastically as students arrive and leave with the university schedule and as new student housing is constructed. It would be wonderful if the city were to invest in a system which changes traffic signals in real time as a function of data collected from sensors at intersections. Surely there will be graduate students, postdocs, and faculty in the Luddy School eager to help out with a cool "smart city" project...

Unsafe curb damage, north edge of Kirkwood between College and Walnut, dead center, opposite the south steps to the Courthouse. This is a trip/stumble hazard, which I know because I fell on my face there at about 4:15pm on 5/1/25. There is other curb damage along the same edge, and I believe the cutout around the lamp post is also a hazard. If anything still hurts in the morning, I will get medical attention. Jordan Avenue Improvements (05/01/2015 - 08/03/2015) Jordan Avenue from University Drive at the Musical Arts Center to the Jordan River bridge will have periodic lane restrictions for road improvements. Access to Jordan Avenue Parking Garage will still be available from the south.

Could you please look at putting a 4-way stop in at the intersection of Pete Ellis and Longview. Because of the increased traffic due to the closing of the 10th and by-pass intersection, it makes it nearly impossible to get across Pete Ellis whilst traveling on Longview.

Parking Meter not working. Meter number 7671, in front of Chicos on M Walnut, last spot before the intersection with Kurkwood is not working. I put 2 quarters in and it did not register any time whatsoever. I'm only here for a half hour guitar lesson, so I am not about to try my debit card, but I don't want to be ticketed.
