This website is not very user friendly. I cannot find basic information such as the date of the next historic preservation commission meeting. Thank you
It would be great if the city could offer some professional development courses geared toward women. I work on the IU campus as a professional staff and there is very little support offered for the types of challenges we face. For example, a class like this on salary negotiation would be so helpful.https://www.boston.gov/departments/womens-advancement/aauw-work-smart-boston
The manger at the Highland Village Laundry facility was extremely rude to my husband and I when we attempted to do our laundry there. I have tried to call them numerous times to speak with the owner, but the phone number they have listed is not a working number.
this is often an issue in front of my office, with the road newly paved could you consider wheel stops to keep pedestrians right of way unblocked? thank you
Us and our neighbor are experiencing a lot of air in our water lines the last two days.
Parents and staff have shared that you cannot see westward from the SW corner of Fess and Grimes due to overgrown bushes and trees
Large blue 4x4 truck taking up 4 spaces in Showers Red Lot, no parking permit.
Sidewalk is pretty much completely blocked by vegetation. Students use that sidewalk to reach the bus stops and are forced to walk in the street.
1. Many of our faculty, staff and students (as well as others) have to cross 10th street to get to their parking lots behind Geology or the Fee Lane garage. Although there is a pedestrian crossing, most cars do not stop and it is difficult to cross. Also, when the buses are stopped, cars often pass on the left and come very close to hitting us. This has happened to me and many others many times. I was almost hit again yesterday. I believe that if the zone was better marked on the road or around the road and/or had flashing lights like some others around the campus, cars would be more prone to slow down and respect the rules. Last year, I contacted the IU Police Dept. who informed me that the street belonged to the city of Bloomington and that they would mention it to them. However, I never heard another word from them and the zone remains dangerous. Is there something that the school can do before someone gets seriously injured? We would all be very gratefulī
