There has been an abandoned car parked in front of my house (519 E 14th St.) for a couple weeks. It's a dark green sedan, missing the front bumper. The bumper was on our front lawn for awhile, but I think someone stole it during the last football game. We would like it to be removed/towed so that we can use that space for parking our cars again. Good afternoon, I am writing to report an issue with water drainage coming from the roofs of houses and dumping on to the sidewalk. Along N. Indiana Ave, many houses/apartments (owned by Elkins Apartments) have drainage downspouts that empty directly on to the sidewalk. This creates a hazard with constant freeze and thew during the winter months. I have personally felt unsafe walking down a sloped sidewalk, on what is pure ice during periods this winter. Indiana Ave. is a very high foot traffic area during winter months as fans walk to and from basketball games. From witnessing several people slip and fall on the ice, I feel like it is my duty as a citizen to report this issue to the city. Though we have been blessed this season with relatively mild temperatures, this does not overshadow the safety hazard created from the downspouts off many of these houses. This problem would ideally need to be handled quickly before the next cold spell of weather. Thank you. Best regards

Sidewalks along Patterson near church on the N side of the street have not been cleared from recent snow. Two people were walking in the street last night to avoid them. Please enforce snow removal along this pedestrian corridor.
Hello, I own 1112 S Madison St. The electric supply line to my house runs overground, underneath the limbs of a large oak tree. This is a safety hazard as falling limbs may easily down the line and thus set my house on fire. I've been in communication with Duke energy since February in an attempt to have the supply line put underground. Duke says that ATT first needs to replace the utility pole where my supply line originates. They wouldn't touch the line before the pole is replaced. I have reported the issue to ATT and requested for the pole to be replaced more than two months ago. ATT is not doing anything about it. My contact person, Randy, originally said it would happen within two weeks, and when I called him again a month later he was surprised that it hadn't happened yet. Two weeks later, again nothing has happened. My contact people at Bryan at Duke (812 947 3282) and Randy at ATT (317 966 4152). What can I do when these corporations are unresponsive and not taking steps to replace the pole or put my supply line underground? It is a hazard and needs to be addressed, and I am frustrated by the lack of response or initiative by ATT and DUKE. Thanks, Vera Flocke
The area along the south side of Rose Hill cemetery on W. 3rd St, west from Walker until the lights from Cresent Donut and the Marathon station has NO street lighting. This is a corridor that often has the homeless headed to Wheeler Mission. I have driven on it at night and found people walking and a guy in a wheelchair as well in the west-bound travel lane of this roadway -- virtually invisible! Until Beacon's new facility is built, which I am sure will have outdoor lighting, this is unsafe for the bicyclists and pedestrians who travel this piece of the old Whitehall Pike.
