The storm grate has been eroded around the edge and there is a large hole on the side. This should be filled in as soon as possible so that someone does not accidentally step inside and twist their leg or ankle. I noticed the hole a few days ago but it seems to have gotten bigger and bigger. Thanks!

There has been a large dip in the concrete in this sidewalk for quite some time now. It is located right when you pull in off of Third Street into the alley between Baked Cookies and Sweet Claire's bakery. The sidewalk must have been unstable when it was poured and one section has sunk down about six inches, leaving a ledge between the two sections. Thanks for your attention to this concern.

Amazing Fact:
Nowhere,
but nowhere,
on your entire neighborhood parking section, not in the main text, not in FAQs, does the site give the one bit of information that one would think would perhaps be the first information you need:
where do you get a permit (and when can you get one).
Best wishes,
Mark Roseman

I have an animal stuck in the dryer vent. Do you have any ideas on how to take care of this?

Pot-holes on Yancy which is a dead-end street. The holes are at the end where vehicles have to turn around. Thanks

I would like to bring to your attention the poor walkability of Rockport Rd between W Pinehurst Dr and Graham. This 200 yards' block is the "missing link" between the Southern Pines neighborhood (which
has a decent sidewalk network) and the Country View apartment complex, which has the closest city bus stop.
On this block of Rockport Rd, if one is to walk north from W Pinehurst Dr along the west side of Rockport, the sidewalk simply ends in a fence (pictured in the photo attached). I pass there often, and I've seen pedestrians use the road shoulder, which is quite dangerous, what with the narrow street, heavy traffic, and limited visibility (hills). On the east side
of Rockport Rd, there is sidewalk part of the way, but it is not continuous either; besides, crossing the road twice may be dangerous, especially for older people and children, considering what the traffic
and visibility in Rocport Rd is like.
I think it would be highly useful for many residents (and for people who have to drive through there) if some kind of improvement project were undertaken. One ought to either build a sidewalk along the west side of the road, or to complete the sidewalk along the east side and create marked pedestrian crossings at W. Graham and W. Pinehurst (or
W. Ralston).

What do we do if there are unneutered male dogs in the park? There have beens several instances recently at the park and an unneutered male pit bull mix was constantly trying to hump my male dog. I'm afraid of a fight breaking out. The web page says dogs must be spayed/neutered, but the rules sign posted (I'm pretty sure) does not say it's necessary. We've just had to leave every time this has happened.

I work at Motorwerks BMW I suggest that something is done for us to cross American Blvd! What is it going to take someone getting hit by a motorvehicle?! People don't even look at the pedestrain crossing signs! I think there would be a lawsuit that the city would not want to have on them! Get something done please

All Stop signs and speed limit signs on Henderson St., from Miller Dr. to 1st Street seem to be invisible because no one ever heeds them. I would think Police presence would help, but perhaps public works could do something to convince motorists that this is not a major, high speed artery. We have a school, a park, and many pedestrians.
Yesterday (4/8/13) I saw a car, traveling 40-50 mph, narrowly miss a college student at the bus stop by Blacks Lumber. Also two children have been hit in the Templeton School zone this year. This is a problem.
