The street light south of aforementioned address is either very dim or just broken. Since that light is out of commission, all of Indiana Ave is poorly lit and deemed unsafe.
The advertisement for Beach Juice alcoholic drinks has been spray painted on the sidewalks at each corner of the block surrounding Big Red Liquors. The images are at the following corners: 9th and walnut 9th and college 8th and college 8th and walnut (back from the intersection at the NE corner of the ocean building) I thought it might have just been spray chalk and would disappear with a rain or two but I have verified it really is black paint and water has no effect on it so it will likely need to be pressure washed off. Thanks!
Sidewalk missing
Recently planted tree has no grate covering the ground depression in which it is planted, creating a hazard to pedestrians.
Likely poison Hemlock growing in library garden beds.
Trash (cans and can containers) in the alley between North Grant and Lincoln Street - behind the a green duplex. Tenants not taking their cans recycle containers to the street to be picked up. Unsure of landlord to notify but continues to be a recurring issue.
The 25 MPH street sign on the north side of the road has been tagged with graffiti for a while. It makes it less visible to drivers at night.
Malodorous dumpster sitting on sidewalk, east side of Lincoln.
The issue associated with Case #193767 has not been corrected. Large, smelly dumpster on the east side of Lincoln between 14th and 15th Streets remains on the sidewalk and almost into the street. This really is not completely the fault of the property owner. Can Rumpke be fined for placing it in a public thoroughfare?
