Hello, I am writing to make a complaint about the scooters that have appeared over the last few weeks from both Bird and Lime. This past Saturday, multiple scooters from both companies were simply abandoned in Bryan Park, some of which were blocking the sidewalks and paths through the park, some of which were leaning against trees and benches, all of which were eyesores in an otherwise lovely park. At one point in the afternoon, six or so Lime scooters were dropped off on the sidewalk by the Henderson St. lower parking lot by folks from Enterprise Rental, on the sidewalk, where people walk, run, etc. In Bloomington, we are fortunate to have bike racks everywhere. Would it be possible to require that users and companies place the scooters at bike rack locations? By simply allowing them to be left wherever, users are leaving them around without regard to others. This is also a bit of an issue with the Pace bikes. A few weeks ago, one was left leaning on the stop sign at Henderson and Davis, when there is a bike rack just a block away in the park. Owner has set up a drain from the basement of this house that dumps directly on the sidewalk in front of the house. The sidewalk has been a muddy mess of standing water and a fall hazard ever since. Is this a violation of city code? It seems like it would break down the side walk over time and ,again, be a fall hazard due to the muddy mess.

The Street light in front of our house, does not work. There is not light at night.

Debris left under a tree that may include drug paraphernalia, had my dog with me so couldn’t get close. This is under a tree right by multiuse path on south end of Bryan park, not far from baseball field #2. Thanks!

There are a couple of very deep holes on the large hill on the north end of the large dog area of the Switchyard dog park. I was not there to see this happen, but a gentleman I was just speaking with there said that he saw a dog get very injured when its leg was caught while running. They should be filled to prevent any further injuries. Thank you!

702 West Allen (rental) 1126 South Fairview 1112 South Fairview (rental) The houses listed above continually have a buildup of trash in their yard. 614 West Allen The yard looks like a junk yard. The continuous supply of trash lying around has attracted pests and dogs to dig in to it. So garbage gets all over the neighborhood. One of the pests that the trash is attracting is skunks. My dog has been sprayed once and I have had a few close calls. This past Saturday a pit bull came out of a large pile of trash and kept barking at me and my infant son trying to defend his treasure. This is my second complaint about trash in this neighborhood (the first time was just about 702). I wish to stay anonymous about my complaints so I don’t make enemies out of my neighbors, especially the ones that own their houses. So please help me resolve this problem. Thank you
