“Free Speech Bridge” on Eagleson Avenue has hateful, disturbing grafitti. The red hands, red triangles and “Zionism Will Fall” messaging are paticulalry heinous and disturbing as they are often viewed as a call to violence, a call for the murder of all Jewish people. On Friday, July 12, a crew from JE Reedy pushed through my double locked gate to clear a path so they could install fiber overhead (in a neighborhood that already has fiber). They seriously cut at least 3 trees: 2 are trees that get no taller than 15 feet, and a pine that was near the pole they needed to climb (Duke has cleared this area for years and never had to hack the pine). They said that they came by on Thursday but they did not leave any notice that they would be working in my backyard so they were trespassing. They could have done their work without destroying my fence row but that would have involved creativity and a little effort. I am sickened, angry and sad and want someone in the City to see this mess and come up with a way to make this right. I have several photos but could only upload one.

The HVAC system by the northernmost entrance of the Showers Building is painfully loud. I hope a fix is being prioritized, because even from the sidewalk, it's extremely bothersome. Many concerns by County field staff who frequently use that entrance. Thank you!

Wish list: We would love a fence around the baseball diamond! Currently balls often get lost in the tall grass/trees and roll down the hill. If a fence is not possible, could a perimeter mound be built so that when balls near the end of the field they slow down and don't go further. On the tennis court, a solo practice bounce wall would also be awesome so that kids/adults could play alone if a partner is not available. Lastly, could a pet dish attachment be added on the water fountain.

homeless encampments are spreading throughout this area on 501 N Walnut St around peoples houses. Had filed a uReport with the number 192180 and nothing got resolved.
