Hello. On Saturday I was at the intersection of S. Walnut and Winslow Rd. I was turning south onto Walnut from Winslow and didn't get a turn arrow nor did the on coming traffic. Today at the same intersection I was turning from Walnut onto Winslow and did not get a turn arrow nor did the oncoming traffic. Both times I was at the light with plenty of time to trigger the arrow. Do you know if there is an issue with the light?
The ongoing trash problem at 1000 East Atwater continues. More rats have been spotted. There is now furniture that blocking the trash containers. This has been going on since August. Why is this landlord not held accountable? Why can't the dumpster be returned? For 30 years there has not been a problem at this location until this owner took possession and removed the dumpster.

Hi there, I live in an apartment complex in Elm Heights and have a question regarding the street parking on south side of 2nd street between Henderson and Fess where the Elm Heights Bloomingfoods used to be. Currently, the signs state that the parking is 2 hours, which made sense when the building was in use. However, neighborhood parking on the surrounding streets is pretty tight during the majority of weekdays when IU is in session. Unfortunately, there have been times when I have had to make use of these 2 hour spots due to the lack of availability of street parking near my dwelling and have been subsequently ticketed. Is there any specific reason why these spots are still being enforced with a 2 hour limit even though Bloomingfoods went out of business? Is there any way the 2 hour limit could be removed for those that display a neighborhood zone permits until a new tenant is found for the building? I understand that I am responsible for the fees incurred by my violation for this current 2 hour policy, but fail to understand why it is being maintained so aggressively given the fact that the reason for implementing the 2 hour street parking (accessibility for Bloomingfoods customers) is no longer valid. I have always had positive experiences with all members of the Sanitation Department, but this past year, in particular, I have had extremely positives experiences. Not only have the team members been thorough, timely, and respectful, but everyone has been SO friendly! The team doesn't hold back on the smiles, waves, and well-wishes. I cannot say enough positive about the Sanitation team (yard waste, recycling, trash) that comes through the Winslow Farms/Sweetbriar neighborhood.
