Snow STILL on sidewalk
Snow STILL on sidewalk
An extremely bright and misdirected floodlight was recently installed on the shed-like building on the south portion of the lot. The fixture is casting dangerously bright and offensive glare on the back sides of the adjacent properties and the front of houses across the street. Please ask the absentee owner to follow normal procedures and guidelines when making changes to this once cute house that has unfortunately been allowed to be dragged down to its current condition.
Trash bins being stored on street.
Referring to issue# 192922: It is unclear why it was marked "invalid". The offending fixture is mounted to the upper NE corner of the west building at the back of the lot (the shack-like building located at the SW corner of the lot) and is emitting light aimed generally towards the N/NW, completely flooding the backside of 308 E. 12th with glare. The light also passes between 312 E. 12th and 308 E. 12th (see attached photograph), which then crosses 12th Street to light up *both* front doors of 305 E. 12th.
White van parked in yard.
Japanese knotweed on property speading into neighbor's yard.
This has been reported previously, but somehow the girl they sent the last time (the one who relies on an "app") missed it. Japanese knotweed is growing on the south end of the lot behind the shack out back along the alley and is invading the adjacent property from the SW corner of the lot. Also, the attempt to remove the knotweed from the west side of the house has failed - it grew up immediately after being cut at the base. Of course, cutting knotweed only makes it spread. Assumption is that was clearly communicated to the property owner by HAND. Also, burdock is growing on the south half of the east side of the property.
Intersection of Winston & Diana Court. Request signage to indicate Diana Court is not a thru street.
I drove my car today(May-16 2014) about 2pm. I got left turn from South college mall road to E Moores Pike. There was a hole and my car had a flat tire both of them, on the passenger seat side. That should be replaceable. Do you have any procedures to compensation?
I am using this address as a general locator. I tried to walk from my house in Bittner Woods west on Moores Pike to meet a friend at Crumble in Renwick but had to walk in the on the road itself to get to the intersection at sare road and moores pike. There is only one home owner along that route who shoveled. I believe much of that could be city property going over the creek just before reaching the intersection. It just would be nice to be able to walk in that direction without having to walk in the road.
