excessive growth of giant ragweed along the alley
excessive growth of giant ragweed along the alley
Very overgrown front yard, large fallen tree limbs in front yard since Spring 2024. Resident has not lived in house for at least several years. Do not have contact info for him, has been told he works as custodian for First Presbyterian Church downtown.
The grass is the heighth of Andre the Giant. When leaving the mobile home park, one has to pull into intersection to see traffic coming west from 1st street. Due to this, collision is a higher possibility when needing to turn east on first street.
The median along the sidewalk on the north side of W3rd street, from Madison street to the B-line has not been cut all year. This is an unsightly nuisance and a safety issue. Please have this neatly mowed (either by the city or by the owner), and put it on a regular mowing schedule. Thank you!
city parcel - the first u report was reported on 7-2-25 the second report was reported on 8-5-25 the parcel is over grown with invasive plants and weeds are growing along the curb so the sidewalk is hard to use and it's the only sidewalk on the street. The house next to the city parcel is 1004 is also overgrown with invasive plants and the curb has weeds along it. The city parcel also gets trash from the dumpster from the Opportunity House.
Response to case 204377 overgrown weeds and weeds along the curb is taking over the sidewalk. The sidewalk is hard to walk on with the overgrowth and school starts Wednesday so it's not a safe area for kids to walk on.
Overgrown yard and vegetation piles are a hazard and promoting mosquito and tick habitat.
Not sure which category this belongs under. The grass-cutters for this property and the one directly to the north and also the Grant Street Inn to the south routinely blow grass cuttings into the street. Sometimes, there is so much that it creates a cycling hazard, and then when the rain washes it all into the storm sewer grates and clogs them, temporary lakes form. Are the any regulations relating to the levying of fines to careless people who dump yard waste (grass, leaves, etc.) in the street?
Around Arlington bridge, public walk way, there is debris, grass, and bushes that should be taken care of for safety of the children and the public that uses this walkway. It’s very unsafe someone could be hiding in the bushes to attack or kindap a child. Ty
