Please trim back tree/shrub growth on the east side of N. Walnut St. just north of the visitors center, just north of the entry/exit to Blue Ridge neighborhood. It's very difficult to see cars traveling south on N. Walnut as you exit the neighborhood. Dangerous in many cases as drivers are traveling well over the speed limit on the newly paved road. This location needs a street sign indicating that Hathaway Courts is a dead end (or a no through street sign). Numerous vehicles each day come down the street in an attempt to get to the parking lot for the tennis courts at Southeast Park. A sign would reduce the traffic that comes down the street looking for the park.
The choice to perform all of this traffic now was poorly made. If the city knew that I-69 was going to be built over 3-4 years ago, why did they not string all of these projects out over that time frame? Who is responsible?
You all changed the path and direction of northbound traffic at the roundabout at Sare and Rogers. As a result, traffic is backed up each morning and people are almost running into each other. Why the change? After all this time you just decide to change it? Really...? Another poor decision with regard to streets and traffic. It only makes morning commutes more difficult and unsafe. I can only image how congested this will make school bus traffic later this summer. You cannot fill in a pothole or repave a road, but you can change traffic markings on a roundabout after five (5) or six (6) years...?
Why did you change the traffic flow of this roundabout? It use to flow very smooth. I drive northbound on Sare each day, and now that you have changed the flow, I wait each morning at the roundabout. When school starts, it will be a mess. When those apartments fill up and the rest of the Lakes is build, it will be much, much worse. Please consider changing it back to the way it was. Someone has too much time on their hands to change things like this, or else you have faulty data. It would have been nice if you asked for public comments before you changed it.
Can the crosswalks please be repainted at the intersection of N. Smith and Morningside/E. Morningside? It is a very busy intersection with lots of foot/bike/car traffic, and right now you can essentially not even see the crosswalks that were prior painted. Thank you for your attention to this safety issue.
Is there an update on when Park Ridge East will get its sharrows again? Was told by neighbors spring then summer. No reason to think they aren't coming this summer just curious if the timeline is known. Thank you!
Can't see traffic when looking south at Walnut St Pike pulling out from Sherwood Hills Dr due to tree/vines etc.
W. 12th St. in front of Boys and Girls Club many, many cars park the wrong direction streetside creating traffic confusion. Almost appears like a one-way but isn't. Please address flipped parking (that's illegal in Indiana, isn't it?).
Car keeps parking in flipped at entryway to Park Ridge East off of N. Smith. Usually in evenings.
