The house is located right next to the Park Ridge East community park, and local children have expressed fears about playing there due to the "scary house." This property is a rental unit, and the front gutter is almost entirely hanging from the roofline into the yard, giving it an abandoned appearance. The neighborhood has attempted to assist, but the house remains in poor condition. Other residents are currently trying to sell their properties or have attempted to do so without success. Potential buyers admit to looking elsewhere because this house, prominently located on the corner, is in full view of the park. Can someone please help? cannot see address but located around 210 s. Hillsdale. They dumped a year ago truckloads of dirt in the front and have done nothing with it the yard is often overgrown. This looks bad for the neighborhood and is obvious not being cared for. Can nothing be done to make them restore this to a house that fits into the neighborhood. I am sure you cannot dump weed and tree trunks filled dirt in the front yard and do nothing about it. Please get on this because it affects our property values. You cannot miss the dirt in the front yard

Poison ivy growing from lawn is dangling over retaining wall into sidewalk. West sidewalk on Madison, just north of intersection with Smith. Some of the poison ivy is disguised by adjacent Virginia Creeper.

Tree adjacent to east sidewalk on Fairview (near intersection with Howe) is covered in poison ivy. The poison ivy is dangling over the sidewalk at face- and shin-height. I unfortunately realized this was poison ivy the hard way. The vines appear woody and hardy, its leaves are very large, and it seems to be fruiting. Please remove before someone else walking on the sidewalk brushes by it and has a serious reaction to contacting the plant.
