Every morning I travel from the west side of Bloomington to the east side and notice numerous drivers disobeying the traffic sings posted at the intersection of Curry and IN 46. There are 4 arrows, 2 for turning left and 2 for turning right, there are 2 signs posted for the right turns that states, NO TURN ON RED. However, every morning at least 1 person still insists on turning right on the red arrow. Today it was 1 person, yesterday it was 4 drivers. They are turning on red regardless which lane they are in. If we are going to allow the turn on red then please remove the sign. If no one should be turning on the red arrow then maybe the sign needs changed to say right turn on green arrow or police need to start giving out tickets. It is unsafe to allow drivers to make up their own rules.

Hi, I live at 4200 E Saratoga, zip 47408 and my backyard is adjacent to commercial property on the north side of 3rd st. There is a building with lighting that I believe to be non-compliant with city code. the location is 4213 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401 and it's Strauser Construction. They have a very bright light on the rear of the building that is one all night and is an open bulb with no cover. It's like a spot light shining on my house and yard, and into our windows. The light is on the rear, west corner of the building and there may be on on the east corner as well. I am hoping someone from the city can confirm compliance with city code and request a cover or timed security light or dimmer bulb. Pot holes on Cory Ln and on Cory Drive Hello, Thank you for taking care of the previous potholes on Cory Ln. There are new developed ones that also need addressed please. Cory Ln between 2ndt street and 3rd street has multiple new potholes located on the outer sides of the street on both the west and east sides. The holes are large and deep. There is also a pothole on Cory Drive, running west off of Cory Ln that also needs repaired please. Thank you, Janda

Huge, very deep pothole on E. 3rd. Street. It is in the area where the Catholic Church is on the south side of the street, then an entrance into the mall, and then a Shell station on the corner. I am reporting this because my car sustained serious front end damage as a result of hitting it...destroyed the tire, broke the spring, damaged the strut, threw out the alignment, and, "maybe damage to the wheel bearings." I would like to have someone reply to this email address and inform me if there is anything more I need to do to protect myself regarding this damage. I have reported it to my insurance co.
