Sine there is no section PARKING VIOLATIONS so I chose this category. Please forward to the correct category superviser. The Red Ford Truck has been parked at 619 S Eastside Drive forever. The owner lives at 612. This truck has not been moved for 3 days continually and is on public property. It probably has not been moved in all the years that has been sitting there a 1000 times for 3 days. According to the Bloomington Municipal Code that makes it an abandoned vehicle. The owner will say it is not abandoned, but then you need to change the definition of 'abandoned vehicle' in your code. On top of this, this vehicle has a license plate that expired more than a year ago. The owner also owns a white sedan which has a license plate that expired more than a year ago as well.

I and several neighbors have an ongoing problem with a man on our street. He has two large vehicles parked on the street, another vehicle in his driveway and a large truck that has never been moved. Yesterday, he moved this Ford-350 close to my driveway and I cannot get out safely on the street as the truck blocks by view. This truck also blocks my sidewalk so visitors cannot come to my door for a visit. These problems with him have been going on for years and the Ford-350 has not been moved in more than a year. The Excursion is also a truck and it also blocks safety. Both of these vehicles do not have current plates and the man keeps telling the parking officers that he has then in the house and will put them on the vehicles. He has not done so. Finally, several people on our street are anger and resentful because the city has yet to force him to make needed changes so that all of us can be safe. Red Ford truck has been parked in the same location for 6 weeks now. See Code of Ordinances, Title 15 04.020 (2), so it should be considered an abandoned vehicle. Owner at 612 has been told he needs to move this vehicle every 4 days, but he does not do so.

My neighbor's tree hangs over the street where I park my car. I do not have a driveway and my only option is to park on the street. This house is empty and has been for a long time. The tree has limbs that are dead and falling and breaking and I'm worried they will fall on my car. I don't know who to contact to make them take care of this. The last time we had that super strong wind I wasn't home luckily but a huge limb fell down into the street from that tree you can see where it broke off from. The limbs that hangs over my car needs to be cut down.

The water valve in the street at the intersection of University and Eastside Drive is leaking again. The City fixed this once last year, and the surface around the valve has been subsiding lightly since. There is a puddle of water that makes the subsidence stand out clearly. You can see the water run-off going down hill towards Second Street.
