My concern is too little or no erosion control in place on 19th St., where major storm sewer installation is going on. The street was flooded with muddy water on (6/29/25) Sunday morning. Tree limbs and debris left in the street after water receded. Crider is cleaning it up now. There is major excavation with lots of loose soil piled up on that 5A site so is this going to be contained in the future as work continues. I'm sure Utilities does not want this dirt flowing down and getting in to the existing storm pipes. It is a mess up here. Plus storm grates on the low end are filled with debris once again.
I would like to request an open 311 API key.
We’ve had large trucks run over our curbs repeatedly and the neighbors have also had issues with trucks going on their yard and damaging their property. We were told poles or other barriers couldn’t be put in place ironically until there is an accident first. But I am writing to request that a no large vehicles over a certain size or with carriers attached be allowed to turn there. The attached photo is the specific truck as it ran the curb from EMI
Behind the Red Cross building (located where Constellation is) there is a set of concrete stairs that goes to the Grant Street Inn overflow lot (there's a sign that says 'No Exit'). The light next to those stairs is not working. We think it may be a dead lightbulb.
The street light is out and in one passage through this area on college, I saw nearly two different accidents happen. I hope the city will repair the light and remove the 4-way stop ASAP. It is very dangerous.
There's no lighting on this small street, and the sidewalks are somewhat uneven. Would be nice to have some lighting for when it gets dark so early.
Debris left at 703 N Washington in May and is still there now on July. Please help.
The city installed two very tall, bright LED lamplights as part of a project at the intersection of Winding Brook and Rogers Road, and The Stands and Rogers Road. These two large lights greatly increased the illumination directly into my primary bedroom windows on the south and east sides of my home and have created an ongoing nuisance that is visible from my condo 365 nights per year. This is unacceptable. Please assess these lights and correct this issue with more directional lighting (away from my residence, and, if possible, please use something other than LED. Thank you!
Water has been pouring onto the front yard of our office through a large crack in the concrete retaining wall at the east side of Building Trades park. This has been on-going over the entire day. We have not observed this happening after a rain event in the past.
