Dead full grown deer at the corner of Azalea Lane and Erin Court in Bloomington, Indiana
Copious trash at stated address. See picture. Normal occurrence at the end of the academic year. Perhaps a pre-emptive friendly end of school year reminder to renters and property management is in order, with elevated fines based on volume or severity of the violation.
Garbage and recycling bins on curb
Large yard covered with overgrown weeds at this business. Causing pest issues for us neighbors.
Two very assertive/aggressive deer. One initially on the south side of 3rd, saw three humans and three dogs and trotted from 25-50 yards away, crossed the street, and then followed us on the campus side of the street until the 3rd person in our group deterred it with waving their hat, enough for the deer to run parallel with us again on the other side of the street. Second deer looked over rock ledge at the music school, spotted us, and then proceeded to walk towards us as if to meet up right at the 3rd/Eagleson bus stop. Two deer ended up interacting with one another after the first deer crossed back to our side. Humans and dogs entered Soma to plot remainder of walking route. This area is very busy with cars, buses, cyclists, and pedestrians, and the music school constantly has people in/out of it during the summer months. I’m concerned for all parties, but I would like to know what I can do to deter a deer that is actively pursuing me. I’ve now had deer chase me twice in the last two years. Last year near Bryan Park, and now on campus. Signs to avoid the area aren’t going to cut it if the deer will follow and pursue for blocks.
Our neighbor at 3830 S Woods Edge Bnd continues to let their dog get loose and in the last day we have now seen it attack a couple walking Saturday and now an elderly man and his dog. For 6 months we have repeatedly coaxed the dog back towards its fencing and the owner has acknowledged the dog being out but hasn’t addressed issue.
Recently expanded a gravel driveway to be much wider than I believe is allowed - along Dunn. There is another driveway just north of this one on Dunn which also appears to have been expanded. Both appear to be for multiple car parking for a multi-tenant house.
