I think it’s unacceptable that well behaved dogs aren’t allowed at a park. And that it’s only if certain people are at the field because I’ve definitely brought my dog here before without any issues. And then to be kicked out and have to sit in the car with the dog for over 8 hours because we came for a softball tournament is outrageous. It would be one thing if my dog was misbehaving but we hadn’t even sat down yet. No dogs allowed has and always will be a stupid rule in outdoor public places. There are stores that allow dogs now let’s get with the program and change it to well behaved dogs allowed. And let’s give a person at least an hour to figure out what to do with the dog. Luckily, I came with my boyfriend today so my dog will not be suffocating in the car alone.

Cover to my main H2O shutoff at the street apparently was buried by dirt when they installed the fiber box on the SW corner of my lot. Today I was Unable to locate cover without metal detector to keep the vegetation clear of it. I have a plumbing project coming up that I’ll need to shut off the water at the street this summer. Red Ford truck has been parked in the same location for 6 weeks now. See Code of Ordinances, Title 15 04.020 (2), so it should be considered an abandoned vehicle. Owner at 612 has been told he needs to move this vehicle every 4 days, but he does not do so.

There are several issues: 1) Cars and frequently parked jutting into the alleyway or the city right of way, which is a hazard to traffic and also partially blocks exit from our garage. 2) Somewhere between 5 and 10 different cars come and go on a regular basis, some of which stay overnight at different times. Thus, the backyard is sometimes stuffed with cars. It's not clear who lives here and what the nature of the living situation is. For example, is this a community that provides mental health services to young men? If so, is it appropriately registered with the city? There is too much traffic at this property to fit a typical family or group living situation. I think there needs to be a welfare check or a visit of some sort by the city. 3) There still is trash stuffed underneath a blue tarp, including half of a toilet.
