Carlisle Brake & Friction has impassable sidewalks that have been a problem since Monday 1/6/25. Seemingly no attempt to clear them has been made this whole week which makes an entire side of the street for over a block impassable.

Driveway was cut to access water leak and gravel was placed in the trench. It has sunk in to the point that I cannot access my garage. The driveway needs to be appropriately repaired. There was no issue with the line running to my house. This is urgent as I have mobility issues and need to park inside my garage.

I was walking my dog (on leash of course) up the street and all of the sudden a dog that lives at the house 133 Lexington Ave runs at top speed across the yard and into the street and straight for my dog. I started yelling “no” at it which slowed it down and the owner must have heard because they finally called the dog back. It was very scary and my dog was incredibly anxious afterwards.
I had seen this dog do a similar behavior to someone else walking a dog while driving home last week. It happened so fast I was very concerned I would’ve accidentally hit the dog had I not seen it when I did. At first I thought this was just a one off accident but now that it has happened to me I realize that this dog does not have any sort of yard containment and is becoming more bold with this behavior.
It is a great concern to everyone’s safety including the uncontrolled dog. Please visit the home and explain the safety issue and legality of ensuring their dog is properly contained.

Not sure why they blew these leaves from the street into my driveway, or into the middle of the street?

This is the address of our neighbors. They have several dead trees with very large limbs that fall on our house, cars, and in our yard. We have made attempts to speak with them via knocking and letters all to no avail. These trees are dangerous and could fall and injure anyone in my family, my house, or our cars at any time. we need to know what can be done about this issue.

'Light the Way' blue sign in the ROW at this location.
There are 27 of these same signs on fences and in yards within a couple of adjacent blocks along E First Street. An unnecessary proliferation of signs, if I ever saw one.

about a 10" inch wide hole that's over a foot deep right in the middle of 17th street. I phoned this into 911 10/20/2024, but nothing has been done.

This is a terrible four way stop as you cannot see cars coming out of Eagleview Dr due to the obstructions of trees and retaining walls.

Abandoned Elevator factory. I would like to see the building be turned into a museum in honor of the many people that worked there building some of the greatest elevators and escalators of all times. One elevator product that may have been built there was the Otis Lexan elevator. I have some friends who film these things and love the Otis Lexan. And now since many of the Otis Lexan elevators are being ripped out, my friends feel quite saddened. So if you can, please see if you can make a museum out of this in honor of one of the best elevators of all time. My friends would love you if you did. IN a way, it would be like a memorial to the Lexan line at Otis elevator company. Greyhound even has service going from St. Louis to Bloomington and the service would bring all sorts of elevator enthusiasts to the museum.
