Heard Green Acres wants a conservation district. This is an inappropriate use of historic preservation protections. Historic preservation should be to preserve history, not to prevent development as a NIMBY tactic. This area should be able to grow and evolve to meet the density and environmental priorities of the City. There are other areas that have superior and unique historic structures. Don't make a joke of historic preservation. Please include this in public comment in the packet. The City needs a plan for historic preservation of choosing key areas of the City to protect. Blocking general development helps no one. Areas adjacent to campus should maximize student housing for the benefit of all residents.

I’d like to request that the City integrate any grandfathered single family residency occupancy allowances into the mybloomington data for addresses. That is, state in the mybloomington address data that only three unrelated adults are allowed to rent a house at the listed address, or state the grandfathered amount, and if that grandfathered number has been properly maintained or rescinded due to non-renewal. It would help tenants to determine if they are getting a legal lease, and neighbors to determine if more than three adults are legal or not without going through the process of contacting HAND, and potential buyers to understand what they are getting into.

This is a suggestion for a website related service. You’ve rolled out a calendar for yard waste and recycling pickup on re-collect, which I use and greatly appreciate. I am wondering if a similar calendar accessed through myBloomington can be established for street cleaning (with the suggestion that cars be moved if possible) to maximize efficiency.

For uReports- can we please consider adding a category specifically for reporting encampments or unsafe/unsanitary situations near public areas. Being homeless is not a crime, I understand, but addressing encampments is one of the largest issues facing the city and there is no way to directly report them. Thank you.

Hello, On Friday, April 19, 2025, the town was trimming the trees in the back area (of my yard) to clear the electrical wires. During the work, the decorative angel in my rear yard was damaged - see attached photo. I discovered this damage on Sunday afternoon, when mowing my lawn. I submitted UReport#202323 and received a response that the case was closed about the removal of broken pavement that I had removed from Sussex Dr and Queensway between High St and Monclair that potentially would be washed into the storm drains that the case was closed. I realize that this a busy time for the city crews responding to pothole issues. However several weeks have gone by and the pile of broken pavement is still at the base of my driveway at 2305 Sussex Dr. Hopefully a crew will get to this soon. Don Eggert
