There are a lot of residents that have pets, and it is difficult sometimes to see to clean up after them. Also, as a single woman, it is pretty creepy in that area because it is so dark. Thank you for your consideration.
City of Bloomington truck 592 is continually parked at a residence on Beechwood Dr. in Ellettsville. This truck looks to be used by an employee for personal use. Numerous city assets have been utilized at this Ellettsville residence in the past including trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment. Hard to understand why a city asset would be used to commute from Ellettsville to Bloomington and be parked overnight at the residence for longterm use. Seems like fraud and abuse of taxpayer funded resources.
Not sure what we've done to warrant repeated passive-aggressive placement of our trash/recycling bin. We try to follow the placement rules, and whenever they're not full we don't put the bins out so the crew can have a pass. On top of property taxes we also pay for the bin. I thought perhaps we should return the recycling bin and just put everything in the trash - save us money and spare us this behavior? But I believe in recycling. So let's try this first. My neighbor has his bins walked up the driveway to his garage. and that way they're not in the middle of the driveway or street. My I have this service too please? Or will my property be in danger from some passive aggressive vandalism by the city staff?
Difficult to exit 1405 South Rogers Street parking lot onto S Rogers due to line of site obstruction (bush) on the property 1409 S Rogers Street. Consider requiring trimming bush back to clear line-of-site for exiting parking lot of 1405 S Rogers Street. It is difficult to visualize traffic travelling northbound due to bush/obstructed view. Hello, On Friday, April 19, 2025, the town was trimming the trees in the back area (of my yard) to clear the electrical wires. During the work, the decorative angel in my rear yard was damaged - see attached photo. I discovered this damage on Sunday afternoon, when mowing my lawn. I'd like to be reimbursed because the angel is ruined; this angel came from my mother's yard. How do we proceed for getting this reimbursement to me? Sincerely, Elida C. Behar 04-22-25
