Good Afternoon.
I am looking at becoming an online distributor of automotive supplies. All supplies would be dropped shipped from their warehouse in Florida. However sales would come through my website.
What application I need to file in order to achieve a business license for this?
Thanks,
michael

My phone number, 812-219-6692 is improperly being associated with "Red Brick Apartments" in Bloomington. I receive wrong number phone calls at all hours. When speaking to a wrong number, they informed me my number was posted at the "Sloan Center" on Walnut Street, an organization helping those less fortunate to find homes. Is there any remedy, contact info, or help you can provide? Thank you!

I am manager at TRACKS. We run a IU apparel and record store at 415 E. Kirkwood Ave. Every day between 1 and 6 homeless people gather and sit on the limestone planter outside our store. It is having a negative impact on our business and I would like to know if there is any recourse to get them to move on. What are the rules on who can sit on the planter for how long?

Good Morning,
I work for Interstate Parking Company and we specialize in managing and leasing lots for different parking locations involving monthly, daily and event parking.
We are wondering if you had an Approved Vendor’s list or if there is a place to sign up to get up to date RFP’s for City of Bloomington, IN. Or if you suggest checking back on the City's website is the best way to look for new bids.
Any information in order to proceed with this process would be wonderful.
Thank you
Danielle

On two occasions, I have shopped at Sahara Mart when no heat was in use. The first experience was at the 2611 E. 3rd Street location, and the other was the 106 E. 2nd Street location. The second time the workers were wearing coats, hats and gloves while working the cash register. When I asked "Did the heat go out on you?", the employee said that they "Do not have heat." After the words escaped his mouth he acted as if he didn't want to talk about it any further. I wasn't sure where to report this, so thank you for the opportunity to let the city know.

I live across the street from Juannita's Mexican Restaurant, located at 620 W. Kirkwood Avenue. It is a residential neighborhood with several small businesses in the area. Since Juannita's opened in August 2013, they have routed music through an exterior speaker at a significant volume. I am able to hear this music clearly in my living room and bedroom, making it difficult for me to concentrate, relax, or at times even to sleep. I have called the restaurant staff on multiple occasions asking them to keep the music down. I have sent them a written request to the same effect. I have called the police on three occasions. I've seen no long term effect.
It seems that the exterior speaker is unnecessary and in violation of Bloomington's noise ordinance, given its location in a mostly residential area. I need to be able to relax and concentrate in my own home, but at this time nothing I've done has had a lasting effect. Please let me know if there are any steps I can take through the city to ensure that my right to quiet enjoyment is respected from this point on.
