I just wanted to extend a big thank you to the Street Department for almost inconceivably fast service on clearing access to Georgetown Road this morning. I called about a giant tree limb that was blocking the road entirely and in a matter of just 15 minutes, someone was here with a chain saw starting work on clearing access. This is absolutely amazing service to the residents of the south end of Georgetown Road and I wanted to express my grateful appreciation for the excellent efforts to all involved!

A large portion of a downed tree is entirely blocking the southernmost end of Georgetown Road in Bloomington. Three residents cannot get out of their driveways and emergency vehicles could not get to the end of the street. Can you send someone very soon this morning to remove the tree?

Hi, I have noticed that the landscapers have been down on Shields Ridge to fix yards and put down grass seed. I need to have my yard fixed. I sent in a report a few months ago, and grass seed and straw was put down. But there are still areas of gravel and the yard is uneven from trucks being parked there. Thanks

I'm not exactly sure who to get in contact with, but I am the Director of Public Relations for Garden Villa here in Bloomington and in Bedford. I was wanting to speak with someone regarding the senior programs that you offer in the community and be able to offer those to our residents and possibly help grow your services. If someone could please let me know who I can talk to I would appreciate it. My contact information is below. Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from someone!

Good afternoon,
My name is Mike Krashen. I am marketing intern for Bloomington Brands LLC. We are currently searching for an experienced gardener who can contribute to our PlantersPlace.com video gallery. Bloomington Brands operates the PlantersPlace.com website where visitors can access gardening tips, photos, videos, and much more. In our video section, we have a library of "how-to" gardening tips videos hosted by gardening experts. We are currently looking for local video hosts in Bloomington who are knowledgeable about a variety of gardening topics. We came across the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department and wanted to reach out to see if you might be able to recommend anyone who is qualified for this position. We pay $100 per video posted on our website.
Here is the link to our current video page:

If you know of anybody at the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department that would be qualified and interested, please let us know. Bloomington Brands greatly appreciates your help. Thank you once again.
Sincerely,
Mike Krashen

The streets in Highland Village are so rough they are tearing up my car. As taxpayers, we would like to have them repaved. The patch jobs are the worse part.

Large poison ivy is growing at the entrance to the rails to trails path. Specifically, it is on the fence on the East side/corner of the parking lot, along the sidewalk - growing out, towards the sidewalk. I know what it is (and to avoid it), but not everyone would. Could it be sprayed to kill it? (One time when I think the weed is worse than the poison needed to remove it!) Thank you.

Hello--
Once a week a group of us run on the Rail Trail...we are primarily a collection of faculty from IU who really enjoy the trails that P&R provide (THANKS). We are also truly a multi-generational group...with a couple of our members ALWAYS....and I do mean always....mentioning how nice they thought it was to see a plaque honoring George Heise and others near the bridge at the end of the Rail Trail. George was a longtime member of the Psychology department and a colleague/teacher for many in our group. So, they were very saddened to see that the plaque has been stolen. I've attached a picture of where it used to be, and hope you could find it in the budget to replace it. I'd appreciate a response. Thanks again.
