The following addresses seem to keep having snowy, icy sidewalks and could use a nudge for better removal please: 701 S Park, 703 S Park, 816 E University, as well as the Jacobs property (northeast corner of Ballantine and E 2nd), and the house at the southwest corner of Ballantine and 2nd as well. Thank you!
I went to the Police Headquarters on 3rd Street to obtain a police report regarding an accident Thursday the 9th. The woman who was working was very helpful and pleasant. Earlier this year I went to another city facility and they were very helpful as well. I am very happy and pleased to know that Bloomington employs such great people with very pleasant attitudes, which I know can be difficult with us college kids.
Large areas of potholes, some very deep, on Highland Avenue. The worst area is just north of Winslow Road, where the Winslow Trail merges with the sidewalk on Highland. Often filled with water so it is difficult to tell how deep they are when driving. Also, large areas of potholes are present on both sides of Rogers Road, toward the top of the hill at the entrance to The Stands neighborhood (up the east hill from the Winslow/High/Rogers Roundabout). Thank you!!
Dangerous pothole at the corner of west 13th street and Fairview street right next to the drain. If someone steps in it they will break a leg and possibly be traped.
PLEASE clean up the railroad bridge at West 11th & Fairview , It looks terrible.
BTaccess driver reports that at 5th & Bryan the stop sign reads "all-way" however, the 4-way intersection only has 3 stop signs
Please forward this praise to the appropriate dept: If we haven't thanked the appropriate department already, on behalf of Bloomington Transit I want to give an enormous thanks to all the staff responsible for clearing the roads so that BT's fixed route and BTaccess (disabled transport) could successfully maintain operations last week during the awful cold and snow. We were one of the few transit systems in Indiana that did not shut down. Customers were very impressed and grateful and we owe this to you! - Eli McCormick, Customer Service Manager
The first alleyway headed east on 6th street from Adams (on the southside) is an awful mess and heavily trafficked. Please come and fix it.
