Near Westside neighborhood had yet another fire this eve--third since the weekend. Every time we call the fire department, the don't do anything about it, but this time, they could not ignore it because the woods were on fire with huge smoke plume. (See video posted on Near Westside Facebook page.) Mayor Thompson has asked us to keep reporting and to use this uReport number 192446, but we can't because the issue is listed as "closed." These issues are connected to the unhoused people encampment back between the rail lines just west of Butler park. What is the City going to do help keep us from having to breathe the toxic smoke on a regular basis and also to keep us safe from the fires?

Per anonymous online complaint made to the Indiana Dept of Environmental Management - A neighbor is dumping large quantities of oil into his back yard. His name is Samuel Cummings. He is running a mechanics buisness out of his driveway and is dumping oil from cars into his backyard and alongside his driveway. This is concerning to me as I wouldn't want my garden or yard polluted. He is also using motor oil when burning trash in a large burn pit in his backyard. There is a foul odor present when he burns trash and the smoke and fumes pollute my backyard and the other neighbors backyard and patio. He has been burning trash and dumping oil for months.

Snow is never cleared at this address, why do I as a parent have to act like the police. Children walk to school. This house is a repeat offender, so this is one more thing to do as a parent? There is a city street drain at the bottom of my cul-de-sac between my house and my neighbors. I have been told by the city that the drain is not on city property. I am not sure why or how I am to maintain the drain. It is partially underground and does not drain as it should down the hill. How can the city put in a drain that doesn't work and then expect me to correct the issue. Last week I believe they backwashed the drain which let to a HUGE amount of leaves etc that was in the streets to wash down the hill behind my house and AGAIN destroy the steps I built! I have maintained the walking path at Rogers family park on both side of my house but am extremely upset that the city trees that fall and block the drainage along with the street wash (leaves, snow salt etc) destroying both sides of my house and washing away what little yard I have. I have cut brush and pushed logs but I am a 56 year old women and I can't move or clean as the city could if they would just come in and correct the drainpipe and push the dead trees away on the other side of my house. I push mud off of the trail and clean it all the time! I am often asked if I work for the city. I should!! I can't keep up with what the city should be doing with the water drainage in my neighborhood. I am at the bottom and I get EVERYONES leaves, sticks, street salt and mess. Please help me clean it up so I can continue to take care of it.

200735 just entered this ticket and can see it open but cannot add to it. There are four street lights not working that are on the west side of the street including mine. You can clearly see this is not fixed.

Potholes all up down the road The gouge in the road where it looks like somebody milled it out and now a car bottoms out as you go through it.. also fountain Street leaking up to where they stop construction on the road is there any plans to fix that road full of potholes and unevenness in it maybe you guys have waited long enough to address that road
