Broken tree branch hanging down blocking street parking next to alley driveway
Pothole in intersection at 2nd & Eagleson
west lane of S Eagleson, south of 2nd St, north of 1st: 2 large rectangular potholes that looked like they might have been temporary repairs. Big bumps when unexpected.
Snowplow went off the road and left deep ruts in the right away for about 20 yards adjacent to the street (just before the stop sign at Reisner and 3rd). Can this be repaired / resodded?
I'm not sure who's responsible for this bank of lights on a high pole near the railroad underpass on East 10th St. Could it be shielded so that it lights whatever needs to be lit without being such an eyesore? It's very glaring, and the bulbs face outward (sideways) rather than downward.
Burnt out street light
Sidewalks in Peppergrass neighborhood, particularly in Pepperidge and Laurel ct. north areas need attentions please! Some of the blocks are really crumbled and become like gravel!! Warm regards,
School bus drivers are complaining the light barely stays green long enough to get from Oakdale through the light to Basswood or to turn left. This is my 2nd time putting in this request as I was told this light is maintained by the state and I would need to contact INDOT. I did that and they referred me back to you. Here is the e-mail I received from them regarding this: kenmiller@indot.in.gov Dear Ms. Silvernail, Thank you for contacting the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT). The intersection of W Bloomfield Road and Oakdale Drive/S Basswood Drive is outside of INDOT jurisdiction. Those roads are city streets under the jurisdiction of the City of Bloomington. I understand that you contacted them already, but I can confirm that they are city streets, which INDOT does not maintain. Here is the link to their website: https://bloomington.in.gov/departments/public-works/street and phone number: 812-349-3448. You can stay informed 24/7 by visiting 511in.org or by downloading INDOT TrafficWise in the app store. Spring forward into safety! Buckle Up, Phone Down. The alley next to my house and the ally next to my back fence are both over grown with trees and bushes on PUBLIC PROPERTY. Both alleys have power lines running through the trees and bushes. Last summer, Duke Energy said over the phone that they would cut back and clear out the area. After a few months, thy called back and said they would not cut back the area. I would like to have Duke Energy take care of this. Because of the power lines, they are the only ones who CAN clear it. Thank you for any help you can be. Chris Alford.
Pothole on Rockport Rd starting at the stoplight by the southern hills church to graham Rd. People swerve to miss the potholes they are deep and it's dangerous. Please fill in these potholes. This is very highly traveled road. The potholes being filled would be very appreciated
