There is an all too common issue regarding the people who pick up Bloomington’s trash. Every week I have witnessed these men refuse to throw out a garbage bin because the lid is slightly ajar. The disrespect to only complete have their job and just leave residents’ full trash cans on the side of the road is unacceptable. I’m sure the city doesn’t want trash being left on the streets all week. Our property management said that trash not picked up will results in fines from the city. Well, if the city isn’t cleaning up the trash in the first place, this will not be the case. Can we please get a trash policy change or allow these college apartments/ houses have more than one trash and recycling bin so that this is never a problem again. Thanks.

Our recycling bin went missing, and was possibly stolen or hit by a car and removed. I apologize if this isn’t the right place for this report, I couldn’t find where to call the sanitation department. Can you please let me know how to get a replacement?

I am away on business and person watching my house reported that my front yard was dug up by the nuisance folks doing some kind of work in Ron Heifhts. Will the city be reseeding and fixing this area of grass between sidewalk and curb? No one contacted me whatsoever about this work or that they would be digging up my yard. Neighbors who live at 3507 E Morningside Dr constantly have their dog off leash. I have reported this issue before in case #188974 where their dog walked into my garage because the owner was walking him off leash. During this incident I attempted to speak with him to resolve the matter and he became very aggressive/confrontational with me. This time my partner saw him walking the dog off leash and we have security camera footage evidence of this. The dog is walking through our yard as he pleases. On multiple occasions I have seen this dog walking through others yards and even popping in yards including ours. Not only is it against the law but it is disrespectful and unsafe for him to be walking his dog off leash and is a constant issue. Please send someone to talk to him. This person does this all the time and other neighbors I have talked to have seen it as well. Clearly official steps need to be taken to make sure that this individual understands they cannot do this.

Owner of this home is elderly and impoverished. His only source of heat is burning wood. This tree on city property has branches covering his chimney and we are concerned about the threat of fire. We have reached out to the city forester and the fire dept. Thank you

The homeowner at Vernon and N Dunn painted there own no-parking white lines on/in the actual street so they can charge people to park in their lawn during IU football games.

We came on the of 8/24 and they capsized a boat with 2 people in it and then we returned the next weekend and they loaded the boat improperly and we didn't even get to enjoy ourselves because we were to busy trying to keep the other boat from Going in circles because they put the larger person in the front and when I tried to let him know he rolled his eyes at me and walked away then still charged us the full amount

There's tree on the easement property growing at a 45 degree angle on the NE corner of my property. Part of that tree is hanging over power lines and my fence. I'm concerned it'll fall on my fence.
