The problem exists at the intersection of E. Arden Dr. and S. High St. There is a 4 way stop there. People driving on High St. regularly run this stop sign, even when there is a car on Arden Dr. that has the right of way. There have been many close calls there. This is also an intersection where families and children cross High St. on their way to Southeast Park. Something needs to be done to discourage cars from running the stop sign on High St. before someone gets hurt.

Since this building is no longer a garage, it seems that a full curb should be installed to prevent people from pulling up on the sidewalk.
There are constantly cars parked on the sidewalk here (several feet in past the yellow painted curb (which is flattened because it used to be a garage). I asked the tenants to stop, and then today a dumpster showed up on the sidewalk. This is the North side of the "FAR" gallery building at fourth and rogers.
Obviously this is frustrating to me but it's probably pretty annoying for the kid in a wheelchair who i see going back and forth to school and having to cross the street to get around.

Trucks and equipment are always blocking this sidewalk. For over the past year and still daily. Some trucks are also parked illegally and are too far out into the street. This needs to stop, it's been going on way too long. And the workers don't seem to care about the residents. I saw a blue truck turn and block the road and start backing up in front of a older man riding his bicycle, and the man was clearing visible, and had to come to a quick stop, even though he had the right of way.

The pedestrian walk between Jefferson and Roosevelt where Fourth St. would be if it continued between these two streets is partially blocked at the Jefferson end by vegetation, including a young redbud tree. I reported this about a month ago, and nothing has been done. Could someone at least please tell me if and when the walk is going to be cleared, and if not, why not? As far as I know, it's a public walkway.

I had a very negative interaction with a Customer Service Representative named Jordan from the City of Bloomington Utilities on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 3:30pm. The employee was incredibly rude and very dismissive.

City of Bloomington truck 592 is continually parked at a residence on Beechwood Dr. in Ellettsville. This truck looks to be used by an employee for personal use. Numerous city assets have been utilized at this Ellettsville residence in the past including trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment. Hard to understand why a city asset would be used to commute from Ellettsville to Bloomington and be parked overnight at the residence for longterm use. Seems like fraud and abuse of taxpayer funded resources.

I live at 3230 S Abby Lane. One one side of my house is a water drain from the culdesac. It has had so much sand and debris is no longer drains down the hill as it should. It overflows and washes out my stairs I have to the trail. I have cleaned it numerous times but I get poison ivy and seen several snakes. Neither are my cup of tea. I think it should be dug out better and a solution found for it to flow down the hill and not over my steps.
On the other side of my house there are several trees down on the city property. Trees were removed and just pushed over. Due to the fact I am at the bottom of the hill all of the leaves and sticks run down and clog at the bottom. The water backs up and is washing out my yard. I have more and more holes in my yard where it is washing from underneath and there are more logs exposed that much have been buried under my yard that I now have to mow around. The water and mud flow over the trail and it leaves a terrible mess. I go shovel it off and try to keep the trail clean. Several people have asked if I work for the city because I am always down there trying to clean it up. I am getting old and tired. I would love for the city to push all of the mess to another area so the water will actually drain to the drain hole in the field across the trail as it was meant to do. There has to be a better solution. I am upset I would so hard on my house and both sides are getting washed away.
