Traffic's been unusually bad at the Hillside & High traffic light this week due to the Sare Road closure. High is being used as a detour. This is problematic since Childs school drop-off (8:30-9) and pick-up (3:30-4) result in lengthy back-ups at the High & Hillside intersection. Can someone be assigned to direct traffic at this intersection during those high periods of use while the Sare construction is happening?

I live near the intersection of Arden and High. I have personally witnessed several cars blow through the 4-way stop without stopping or slowing down. There are a lot of children in this neighborhood, including many who walk to Child's school. Please consider some sort of traffic warning/calming/etc at this intersection. Thanks, Sarah Schmiechen

We moved into a new house recently and there is a car parked in front of it on the street. It has been there for months, since we first looked at the house in March. The windows are partly open and the hood is slightly open. It looks to be abandoned. It is in front of our house, which is annoying, but it also jams up the traffic a little bit because it is very close to the entrance to a busy street. Can I have it towed away? We live on S. Highland Avenue just off Hillside. The car is a forest green dodge convertible, I think. I have tried to knock on the neighbor's door to see if they know whose it is but haven't been able to catch them at home, I don't know them otherwise.

2007 Nissan Murano with vehicle plate TK340OOX conducted a right turn at the signal where there was a sign saying "No turn on red" while their signal was red at 10th and union street. Identical to issue #188757. New tenants at this address are driving the wrong way on 11th to get to their parking spot. Please ask them to obey the "One-Way" signs and approach from either Washington or the alley, and not drive west along 11th from Lincoln. Pedestrians are not expecting a car to turn directly into their path, and because there are no sidewalks, people on foot must walk on the street. Also, there is a large spruce on the SW corner of Lincoln/11th that completely blocks the view of possible oncoming drivers, there is a real possibility that someone could get run over at this location or another vehicle driving in the correct direction on 11th will suffer a head-on. The vehicle observed most recently was a grey Hyundai Sonata with Pennsylvania plates. It then pulled into and parked behind (on the south side) of this house.
