After moderate to heavy rain, our storm sewer does not drain properly. Front yard and driveway are flooded regularly. Some drainage work has been done in our neighborhood by the city, but not on Post Rd.

I do not know if the washed out gravel is present at this time, but I do know it is a recurring issue when there is a good gully wash rain. There is a similar issue at the intersection of S. Cory lane and W. Bloomfield rd. as well. If one is exiting Cory and if you were to attempt to go straight across instead of onto Bloomfield rd. there is a private driveway that is gravel. The problem is they do not attempt to contain their gravel drive and I find myself having to either shovel or push broom back their loose gravel back into their driveway to keep it from working its way into the road way. My daughter very nearly hit her elbow on this new sign. May we suggest that instead of this hard to see danger to bikers, we paint the poles with reflective stripes, and remove the sign? Pretty please? We use this route for multiple daily bike trips.

The house at 1413 w 11th has been vacant and uninhabitable since February. The owner has worked on it maybe two weeks out of that entire time. Six weeks ago he left with his windows and doors wide open and hasn't been back until today when he finally came back and shut the door and "mowed" the front lawn. The back is still overgrown. There are years worth of trash in the back of the property. It goes back 364' and there are tires, insulation boards, a toilet, carpeting, misc plastic debris, etc. all over the woods. There are also birds living in the roof (going in and out via the electrical box) and a groundhog going in and out of his crawlspace. Please do something about this! My property is 4' away from his house and I fear homeless people and drugs will be next. I fully anticipate the owner leaving the house in this continually deteriorating condition unless he is forced to remedy the situation.
